C3.ai has received the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) certification for its C3 AI Suite within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment.
NIST SP 800-171 requirements ensure that all sensitive U.S. federal data remains confidential when stored in non-federal information systems and organizations. The C3.ai certification is based on assessment of the C3 AI Suite and supporting systems against the applicable controls within 14 families of security requirements‚ as identified within NIST SP 800-171.
The C3 AI Suite NIST SP 800-171 assessment included an analysis of C3 AI Suite systems‚ processes‚ controls‚ and policies‚ as well as data collection‚ documentation review‚ onsite interviews‚ walk-throughs‚ and demonstrations of relevant processes and security systems.
“C3.ai is committed to ensuring the security and privacy of our customers’ data. The NIST certification is one more vital building block in our efforts to deliver exceptional security and integrity across all C3.ai applications and the C3 AI Suite‚” said C3.ai Chief Product Officer Houman Behzadi. “C3.ai implements a rigorous cybersecurity program to protect critical systems and data‚ and we constantly monitor and improve our capabilities to address the dynamic demands and challenges of today’s security landscape.”
In addition to NIST certification‚ C3.ai maintains a robust set of security certifications to ensure customer data is secure. These include SOC 2 and SOC 3 certification for non-financial reporting controls and security‚ availability‚ and confidentiality controls; HIPAA Privacy Rule and the HIPAA Security Rule compliance; GDPR adherence; and compliance with IL5 DoD classification.
The C3 AI Suite is a comprehensive software that uses a model-driven architecture to accelerate delivery and dramatically reduce the complexities of developing enterprise-scale AI applications. The C3 AI Suite enables application developers and data scientists to deliver AI-enabled applications 18x or more faster than alternative methods.
